Hyderabad to Banglore to Mysore to Coorg

Coorg can be considered as places to visit near Hyderabad.

Day 0 (Night Travel )

Hyderabad – Bangalore
We booked the bus tickets from Hyderabad-Bangalore VRL travels. We were leaving at 10 pm by that time no buses directly for Mysore were available.
It was a bad decision though we did not have an option. We got fresh up at a hotel near Majestic Bus stop( 2 rooms for 2 hours for just Rs 650 each)

Day 1
Bangalore – Mysore
From Mysore bus stand(4-5 Km from Majestic bus stop) we got AC buses from Bangalore to Mysore. It took 3 hours and we reached Mysore 1 pm after starting from Bangalore at
1000 am. Fare 300/- each for AC bus. 150 for Non-AC

Mysore – Koorg
Had lunch at a near by visible restaurant Vishnu(pure-veg). Got a cab from there
250 km per day will be charged with 13 Rs(Innova) / 11 Rs(Indica)
250/- each day driver charges
so (250 * 11)*3 + 250 * 3

Tourist places on the way from mysore to Coorg

1) Golden Temple :- Its a Buddha monastery will attract people who have never seen Buddha temple. Similar kind of statues are there in three different rooms

2) Bamboo forest :- Its 6 km from Golden Temple, gets closed by 0600 pm so we were not able to visit this.

Stay in Coorg :- Since we were not having any Pre-booking , it was hard to find any good place to stay. While searching online we got to go Ambica Homestay

Advantages
1) Its like a home,separate dining hall,Breakfast
2) Owners are very helpful, can talk in English and guide you
3) Can get all basic facilities like hot water/Dining hall/TV/Garden/power backup
4) Cheaper/Clean compared to other home stays

Disadvantage
1) There is no beautiful view that you will be able to see from window etc

Day 2 :
Mandalpatti Viewpoint :- Only two words can describe this place . Its awesome. Somebody has rightly said its #scotlandofindia
To a certain point , you can take your vehicle, after that better to take a Jeep as its dangerous and if your vehicle gets some problem on the way.
We negotiated to 1200 from 1600. 45 KM to & fro from the diversion of Abby falls – Mandalpatti viepoint

Mallali Falls :- Nice water fall , good view ,, you have to get down at least 300 stairs and then muddy way down. We went till stairs only as it was evening and there is dense
forest , So better reach this place by afternoon so that you can go till the end

Day 3 :

Omkareshwar Temple :- Inside Coorg , you can spend 15 minutes with God. Simple old temple will not take more than 20 minutes

Raja’s Seat :- A view point where some photos can be clicked, You can spend 1 hour here, nothing more than that and enjoy the view

Abby falls:- a waterfall which can be seen from nearby just 20 feet , But you cant go in water. have some snaps clicked and don’t waste much time, as there is no place to
sit over there

Nisardham on the way to Coorg-Mysore It has some adventure sports like zipping,river rafting(still water was there),elephant ride.
We could have covered this while going to Coorg itself

its a must visit place
