Recently got the chance to visit Monumental National Flag at connaught place , New Delhi. Its near the Metro station Rajiv Chowk and located on the top of Pallika Bazar in the garden Area.
The visit does not take more than half an hour. There is no entry ticket. Its in the inner circle of connaught place. 270 Feet monumental flagpole was installed by Flag foundation of India and dedicated to the nation by shre Naveen Jindal,President , Flag Foundation of India on 7th March , 2014
You will know many facts about the national anthem,rules related to National flag. Informtion about national river,National flower,national bird of India. Its a proud moment to be there and seeing your flag whose size is 90*60 foot and India’s largest size flag
Its a must visit if you are near Rajiv Chowk or planning to visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Hanuman Temple which is believed to be there since the pandavas of Mahabharta.
